I would like to thank everyone who supported me and voted for me.  I am humbled and touched by each friend who helped in my campaign and I want to express my sincere gratitude to each one of you.  I want to especially thank my love of 26 years, Kathryn, and my sons, John Paul, Christian and Matthew.  Because of them, win or lose, I am abundantly blessed.  I would like to share this quote from Colt McCoy’s BCS Championship Game post game interview and adopt it as an expression of my own sentiment regarding this election:  ‘I always give God the glory.  I never question why things happen the way they do.  God is in control of my life and I know that if nothing else, I’m standing on the Rock.’  I can do no better than this.  I pray God’s blessing on Ed Self, his family and each person who supported them.
